Our refinishing process typically only takes 4-5 hours to complete. Your bathtub will usually be ready to use after 24 hours.
How long will my bathtub last?
The durability of a bathtub refinished by Iwikoor is very similar to that of a brand new bathtub. If properly maintained and no abrasive chemicals are used for cleaning it will last you many years, just as a brand new bathtub would.
How do I care for and clean my refinished surface?
Refinished bathrooms and kitchens are often easier to clean than the original product. Make sure you use mild, non-abrasive cleaning products. Just as with a new bathtub or bench-top, the finish or shine can be dulled by abrasive cleaners.
Will my refinished surface look or smell like it has been painted?
As the materials we use are more like a coating than a paint, it will not give the look or smell that is has been painted. It will look like a brand new fixture, but also more durable and easier to clean. We come equipped with ventilation systems during the resurfacing process to extract the fumes from solvents which will disappear within a few hours.
Does Iwikoor repair cracks, chips, and scratches?
Our technicians will fill in any chips or other imperfections in your bathtub or other surface prior to the refinishing process, making your damaged porcelain, acrylic, or fiber-glass surface as good as new.
